It’s March 23rd, and a significant day in the history of Fascism: 93 years ago today Benito Mussolini founded the first Fascist party, and 14 years later Hitler became Germany’s dictator thanks to the passing of the Enabling Act.

Our own, admittedly significantly less extreme, right wing leaders have another 981 days until they face the Victorian electorate. I suspect they’ll continue their efforts to cut services, break unions, and disembowel workers’ conditions, right up until six months before the election. But we won’t forget, and we won’t let them have a second term.
